The ATR-2 consists of an all-new, rebuildable model with an advanced ODS framework that takes energy mitigation to new heights. 6D has studied the nature of energy and knows there is a lot more to an impact than harsh, linear force. From angular to slow to high-speed impacts, the common denominator is time-to-peak (TTP), which is the time it takes for the energy to reach its maximum impact. The ODS framework absorbs energy and dissipates the force, increasing the TTP. The result: added time, mitigated energy, and hopefully less injury. Much like the ATR-1, the new ATR-2 brings a refined mitigation system allowing for a more fluid energy response. The construction is more dynamic as well with each piece of the system working independently from one another.
