SPIDI Race One Leather Gloves

Race One: the 100% Made in Italy glove made in the Safety Lab, the in-house laboratory where, in 1977, SPIDI created the first inclined motorcycle glove, designed according to the anatomy of the hand. A place that has always been dedicated to innovation, where today technologies for MotoGP, such as electronic airbags, are developed, together with collaborations with the most influential streetwear brands in the world. SPIDI Race One gloves have been designed to get the comfort to a level never reached before, a process started selecting the best leathers: 0,9/1mm sheep leather for the back, 0,8/0,9mm kangaroo leather for the palm. Both leathers are tanned in Italy, with aniline dyeing through the barrel: a manufacturing process giving this material natural feel, great softness and high elasticity. The performance of this material made unnecessary the use of a lining; when it comes to comfort, riding with direct hand-to-leather contact is unparalleled. The direct injection studs, made in eco-sustainable thermoplastic polyurethane obtained from 70% vegetable oils, have been designed taking inspiration from the iconic SPIDI gloves from the 70s. The colors of Race One are two, like its souls: black and white. The elongated lines reinterpret the concept of speed, recalling the acceleration and forces that these gloves are designed to challenge.
